Highland Mommies will meet at The Village Country Club each week (8308 Southwestern Blvd, Dallas, TX 75206). We can walk around the lakes, play in the grass and have picnics. Bring your kids and a lunch for a wonderful time. Hopefully our presence in The Village each week will connect us to people who live there and provide outreach opportunities! On rainy days we will meet in a home or at the Galleria mall. Please join us on Tuesdays at 11.

Play date January 22

We hope you can join us on Friday January 22 for a play date. We will meet at Stephanie Robertson's home at 11. Please pack a lunch and bring a stroller in case we decide to go for a walk. Levi has a playground and sandbox in the back yard. If the sand box is too much please let us know! Also be thinking of ideas for this years play dates. I need help planning the events!

December 3 North Park Mall.

Well we did not see the trains but we saw Santa Claus. He told us a story and the kids sat on his lap for a photo. The mall was beautifully decorated and very festive. There was a children's choir, orchestra, ballerinas, and puppet shows. It was a splendid time.

December Events

It has become our traditions to plan on packing or buying a lunch at the event. We meet around 10 AM and head home around 12:30. We would love for you and your little ones to join us.

December 3rd- The Trains at NorthPark Mall.
All aboard! The Trains at NorthPark™, presented by Bank of Texas, is the most elaborate toy train exhibit in Texas. Celebrating its 11th year at NorthPark Center, the exhibit features more than 40 vintage locomotives chugging along 2,500 feet of track on a magical journey across America. See the trains wind through captivating scenes and national landmarks including the Washington Monument, the White House, Golden Gate Bridge, Statue of Liberty, Times Square and more.
Ticket prices are $6.00 for adults, $3.00 for children (2-12 years) Let Stephanie know by December 3rd if you want a $1 off your ticket price.

Please join us for a play date at The Galleria mall play area on Thursday November 5th at 10 AM. If you would like to stay for lunch plan to buy or bring food.

A Brisk Walk

Today Diedra and I along with my friend Lisa went for a brisk walk through The Village park. The ducks were all sleeping and the turtles were hiding in the lakes to stay warm. All the kids were bundled up in the strollers. After the walk we sipped a cup of hot coffee and enjoyed some cookies.
